Rules
Upon entry, participants will receive a score sheet. You then have 4 hours to top the 8 competition routes. This is a flash competition: you have 1 attempt per route. Points are awarded for each zone (3 of them) and the top. Afterwards, you hand in the score sheet at the bar.
From each category (M/W/X), the 5 best participants will compete against each other in an excitement filled finale, ending with a prize ceremony. This will be followed by a big raffle of prizes from our sponsors among all participants present.
ZONE
Each route has 3 zones. With each zone reached, the participant receives 1 point. The zone points are awarded when the participant can hold on in a stable position or climbs past the zone hold. If you don’t get beyond the zone during your attempt, you will still score one point per zone for this performance.
TOP
The top is the final hold and the endpoint of the route. The route is considered topped when both hands are stable on the designated finish hold for a few seconds without falling off. Once the participant tops a route, they receive 5 points: 3 point for the zone + 2 point for the top.
